13th International Friction Sealing Material Exhibition
Was Concluded In Kunming
According to the permission of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 13th International Friction Sealing Material Technology Exchange and Products Exhibition was ceremoniously opened in Kunming International Exhibition Center on June 17th and 18th .
The president of China Friction Sealing Material Association----MR. Wangyao addressed the welcoming speech.
The chairman of China Building Material League----MR. Qiao Longde attended the opening ceremony and announced the important speech. On behalf of China Building Material League, he congratulated this activity. He highly appreciated that China friction sealing material contributed to the rapid development of the energy conservation、environmental protection and safety of China auto industry, besides confirmed these industries’ achievements about the technological products development、industrial structure optimization and the rapid growth of leading enterprises.
Mr.Richard Brooks,the global CEO of Dupont Group Co.,Ltd----Top 500 in the world、diamond sponsor company also addressed the speech. He considered that " China will lead the development of global auto industry and the friction material industry. Statistical data shows that the global auto output will add from 70 million up to 0.1 billion in the near future, the vehicle ownership of China will occupy one third of the world. The safety of cars is very important, so the quality of the brake pads becomes the key. We all give the high expectation to China market."

This international friction sealing exhibition created a new high record on the exhibition scale and the participating people. The exhibition area reached 6120㎡, the booth number is up to 318, there are more than 200 enterprises to participate in this exhibition. There are 27 countries ,i.e USA、Brazil、Colombia、UK、Germany、Netherland、Italy、Spain、Austria、Mongolia、Japan、India、Singapore、Korea and Malaysia, in the meanwhile 100 foreign guests to attend this activity, almost 1000 professionals registered and participated in this exhibition .
This year’s exhibition regarded "transform the development means and promote the total level" as the dominant idea. According to the international market change, this exhibition guided the enterprises to promote the technological innovation, to improve the mechanization and automation level of the productive process, to increase the work efficiency, to lower the product cost, to enhance the competitive power, to strengthen the environmental protection measures, to advance the cleaner production level, to comprehensively push forward the continue、rapid and healthy development of the friction sealing material industry.
The experts of State Information Center, the famous professors of collages and universities, the top-level professionals from USA、Canada、Germany、Austria、Italy、Japan and inland gave us the splendid academic reports, the living interactive communication brought the abundant information to the participants. The discussing achievements on the friction material: the prospect of international friction material industry、the current situation of friction material in Europe and America and the introduction of main production technology、the development of friction material equipment in Europe、the application of nano material in the disc brake pads、the function information of the various modifiers on the friction material. The discussing achievements on the sealing material: the antileak technology of flanged connection and the latest international trends、the performance analysis of raw material on seal gaskets、the leakage management with the environmental regulations、the demand and application of sealing elements in nuclear power station.
The splendid banquet that was titled by the three diamond sponsor companies was held at that night. At the banquet, the participants enjoyed the singing and dancing show of ethnic and local characteristics in Yunnan that presented by Hangzhou Kele Auto Parts Co.,Ltd, besides the lucky draw.
At the banquet, the association announced that 14th International Friction Sealing Exhibition would be held in May of 2012 in Xi’an.
This successful exhibition not only further promotes the development of China friction sealing material, but also produces the particular in influence to the development of global friction sealing material industry.
This year’s exhibition reached the intended purpose, and was successfully concluded on June 18th.
