Hosted by China Friction & Sealing Material Association (CFSMA), the28th International Friction and Sealing Material Technical Exchange and Product Exhibition concluded successfully at Fuzhou Strait International Conference and Exhibition Center on May 12.Centering on the theme"Innovation-Driven, Intelligence-Led,Green-Empowered—Building a New Pattern of Modern Industrial System", this exhibition closely aligns with China’s 15th Five-Year Development Strategic Plan, gathering outstanding professionals, cutting-edge technologies and high-quality products in the friction and sealing materials industry at home and abroad.The three-day grand event featured well-arranged schedules and rich content. It served not only as a remarkable showcase demonstrating the vitality of industrial development, but also a pivotal gathering to boost industrial collaborative innovation and deepen international cooperation. It has injected new momentum and built new bridges for the industry to kick off solidly and achieve high-quality development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.


The industry brand showcase kicked off as scheduled at 9 a.m. on May 10 at the exhibition venue. Centered on the core theme"Four Decades of Craftsmanship Forging the Soul,New Journey Empowered by Brand Strength", the event draws on the industry’s forty years of development experience, focuses on brand building, and aims to establish a platform for industrial brand display, demonstrate the industry’s development confidence and rally joint efforts for high-quality development.Breaking the limitations of traditional exhibition modes, it adopted an innovative three-in-one presentation form combining video screening, exhibition wall display and brochure. Through three-dimensional, immersive and all-round presentation methods, it fully explored and showcased the brand heritage and core competitiveness of member enterprises, enabling all visitors to directly experience the brand strength and development vitality of China’s friction and sealing materials industry.

Covering a total exhibition area of 11,200 square meters, this event attracted over 1,100 registered exhibitors and participants from more than 20 countries and regions including Germany, Austria, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Bolivia, Mongolia, Morocco, Spain, Iran and India. Foreign merchants and foreign-invested enterprises accounted for more than 20% of all participants, fully highlighting the industry’s agglomeration effect and international influence.
During the exhibition, renowned enterprises, scientific research institutions and supporting enterprises across the whole industrial chain at home and abroad gathered together. A full range of friction materials, sealing materials, raw and auxiliary materials as well as various spare parts were on display. Meanwhile, cutting-edge industrial achievements such as intelligent production equipment, precision testing instruments and low-carbon eco-friendly manufacturing technologies were also showcased.Professional buyers from Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and other regions conducted in-depth business negotiations and supply-demand docking with domestic exhibitors, facilitating the reaching of intentions for bulk product procurement, equipment ordering and technological R&D cooperation. The exhibition received more than 6,000 professional visitors in three days, which fully demonstrates the high professionalism, extensive radiation capacity and strong international brand influence of this grand industry event.






The Technical Session on Friction and Sealing Materials grandly opened on May 11. 22 experts and scholars from domestic and foreign peers, universities, research institutes and upstream and downstream sectors of the industrial chain were invited to deliver presentations. Centering on technological innovation, industrial upgrading, transformation and high-quality development, they interpreted the development trends of downstream industries as well as market orientation and customer requirements for friction and sealing materials from diverse perspectives.They also shared newly developed technologies, products, processes, standards and application research achievements, along with practical experience and results achieved in advancing green low-carbon development, digital and intelligent transformation as well as high-quality development.To acknowledge all experts for sharing cutting-edge technologies and practical experience and their outstanding contributions to industrial technological innovation and exchanges, the CFSMA specially presented commemorative certificates to all on-site speakers.

Professor Yin Cailiu from Guangxi Minzu University delivered a speech entitled Preparation Technology and Friction & Wear Properties of Friction Materials for Carbon-Ceramic Brake Discs.
Tang Bing, Deputy General Manager of Hunan Boyun Automobile Brake Materials Co., Ltd. shared a report named Performance Characteristics of Carbon-Ceramic Brakes under Racing Track Working Conditions.
Kamal Allahyarli, R&D Manager of Frimeco Produktions GmbH, presented a speech titled Euro 7 Brake Wear WLTP Test: Comparison of Different Solid Lubricants in NAO and Low-Metallic Formulations.

Liu Xueqing, Friction Material Expert of Bosch Automotive Technical Service (China) Co., Ltd., shared insights into Challenges Faced by the Aftermarket of Brake Pad under the New Situation.
Associate Professor Zhang Xing from Xi’an Polytechnic University, gave a speech titled Construction of Fiber Aggregates and Their Application in Friction Materials.
Chen Guoyong, Chief Engineer of Jiangsu Qiwei Auto Parts Co., Ltd., delivered a report entitled Research on Dust Reduction Solutions for Carbon Fiber Composite Brake Pads.
Wan Duanxiao, Formula R&D Engineer of LPR (Zhuhai) Auto Parts Co., Ltd., presented a speech named Influence of Brake Disc and Brake Pad Materials on Euro 7 Emission Standards.

Vice President Li Ke from Special Equipment Safety Supervision Inspection Institute of Jiangsu Province delivered an online speech titled Research and Application of Testing and Evaluation Technology for PTFE Sealing Gaskets Used in Alkaline Electrolyzers.

The technical sessions featured cutting-edge industry insights as well as practical industrial development experience. The three-day CFSMA 28th Exhibition came to a successful conclusion in Fuzhou.
