The CFSMA 28th Exhibition Opens Grandly

Gathering in Fuzhou, a city blessed with prosperity, to jointly explore new opportunities for industrial development, the CFSMA 28th Exhibition, hosted by the China Friction & Sealing Material Association (CFSMA), grandly kicked off on May 10 at the Fuzhou Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center.



The year 2026 marks a crucial starting point for the 15th Five-Year Plan. Aligning with the national 15th Five-Year Plan development strategy and focusing on the core requirements of high-quality industrial development, this edition of the exhibition adopts the theme: "Innovation-Driven, Intelligence-Led, Green-Empowered – Building a New Pattern of Modern Industrial Systems". It anchors the integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial upgrading, focuses on breakthroughs in key core technologies, promotes in-depth collaboration among industry, academia, research, and application, and builds a full-chain innovation ecosystem from basic R&D to achievement transformation and industrial application. The exhibition strives to cultivate new quality productive forces, forge new development advantages, continuously lead the industry toward high-end, intelligent, and green transformation, and help synchronize improvements in industrial development quality, structure, scale, efficiency, and security.


As a vital platform for international exchange and cooperation in the industry, this exhibition spans global industrial circles, attracting over 1,100 registered participants from more than 20 countries and regions including Germany, the United States, Austria, South Korea, Japan, Italy, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan, Malaysia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Bolivia, Mongolia, Morocco, Spain, Iran, and India. They gather to explore paths for technological innovation, discuss opportunities for industrial cooperation, and jointly draw the development blueprint for the global friction and sealing material industry.



The exhibition officially opened at 8:30 a.m. on May 10. Coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the founding of the China Friction & Sealing Material Association and the 10th National China Brand Day, this grand industry event is imbued with profound heritage and the glory of the times, serving as a key platform to unite industry strength, demonstrate brand confidence, and discuss future development. To showcase industrial achievements and convey core brand values, the CFSMA meticulously organized the 40 Years of Industry Brand Showcase at the venue. Attendees included rotating presidents Zhen Minghui, Wang Ping, Tao Xianbo, vice presidents Li Ducheng, Shen Jie, Feng Jingyou, Shi Yanjun, Gai Junyuan, former president Wang Yao, secretary-general Shen Bing, executive deputy secretary-general Jiang Shousong, and other distinguished industry guests. They attended the launch ceremony of the brand showcase, witnessing the elegance and strength of industry brands alongside exhibitors and enterprise representatives.



"Quality Improvement and Brand Building" is a core task for the industry during the 15th  Five-Year Plan period. It represents the association’s commitment to implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on brand building, executing national strategies for a "manufacturing powerhouse," "quality powerhouse," and "brand powerhouse," and driving high-quality industry development during the 15th Five-Year Plan. The 40 Years of Industry Brand Showcase embodies the association’s mission to guide member enterprises to prioritize quality, empower development through brands, and enhance the visibility, reputation, and influence of "Made in China." It provides a dedicated platform for member enterprises to showcase and promote their independent brands, facilitating exchanges and mutual learning, and enhancing capabilities in brand system development and international operations.

Custom-built booths stand out with innovative designs and dazzling lighting, showcasing cutting-edge concepts in products such as brake pads, seals, raw and auxiliary materials, and intelligent production equipment—epitomizing the industry’s technological iteration and innovation prowess. Foreign exhibitor booths bustle with activity, as domestic and international visitors engage in enthusiastic consultations and exchanges, fostering cooperation intentions and win-win prospects. Standard booths are neatly arranged and professionally displayed, offering a comprehensive range of core components, supporting equipment, basic machinery, and upgraded products. Every detail reflects professionalism, allowing visitors to appreciate the industry’s diverse ecosystem and solid foundation within a compact space.

· Exhibitors: 262 enterprises (equivalent to 480 standard booths)

· International Participation: Over 20% of exhibitors are foreign or foreign-invested enterprises


The exhibition covers the entire industrial chain of friction and sealing materials, including braking and transmission products, sealing materials, raw materials, fiber materials, chemical products, equipment, testing instruments, and related products. It serves as a one-stop comprehensive platform for trade negotiations and procurement for domestic and international enterprises and professionals.


Leading domestic enterprises such as Shandong Shengquan, Zhengzhou Baiyun, Runhua New Materials,Jiangsu REK, NewTime Foundation, Delidong Machinery, Jinan Yuechuang, Cocan (Hubei), Yantai Ishikawa, Chengdu Junma, Linyi GaiShi, Huangshi Xinyi, and international brands including Link Engineering, Otsuka, Cardolite, Sangsin Brake, Itochu, Teijin Aramid, Frimeco, Tribotecc, Waldraff Technologies, IAG, IMF, Peerless all participated.

The online exhibition continues,it launched on April 29 with all offline exhibitors. The online platform includes exhibition overview, event schedules, exhibitor introductions, and interactive sessions. Visitors can log in at zh.cfsma.org.cn for immersive virtual tours and interactions.

 

The Friction and Sealing Material Technical Session will commence on May 11, featuring 22 distinguished domestic and international speakers presenting insightful reports. Aligning with high-quality development, the conference will delve into forward-looking topics such as industrial upgrading paths, green low-carbon manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing integration, and new material/process R&D, fostering in-depth discussions and technological exchanges.From a full-industry-chain perspective, the technical session will showcase technological innovations and market trends, building a collaborative platform for industry, academia, research, and application.
