July 24th 2012, the 6th CFSMA council meeting was held in Yichang. The principal of association Yao Wang、Tieshan Wang、Changda Wang、Xiaode Du、Yimin Wu、Renjian Xu、Zhongtang Shi、Zhicong Bao、Kejing Zhou、Yukun Zhang and other members amount to 86 people had attended this council. The meeting was conducted by vice chairman Yimin Wu and Changda Wang one after another.
Chairman Wang gave the opening speech. First, he emphasized the importance of this council, indicated that although the economic situation abroad was not satisfied and the same thing happened in domestic .But, we must discuss and unify of our ideological understanding, to find the industry development tactics in this special period,all of these were the most crucial topic for discussion, meanwhile it was also a urgent issues of industry should protracted measures in a long time, of which needed to be solved. He briefly circulated the preparation of CFSMA exhibition、council member supplement、establishing production figures monthly magazine system、adjusting membership dues、the study situation of E-learning and development planning etc. of which council should consider and decide.
He introduced representatives present to industrial policies of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, forthcoming regulations on Asbestos friction plate of the General Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), drafting "Selection Method of China Friction&Sealing Material Association Award of Science and Technology (try out)", responding to non-asbestos process in productions, relevant information on licence system and new implementation regulations contingency plans in the aftermath of national industrial policy-oriented change and the Association's consideration.
Secretary-general Yukun Zhang announced the outcome of the 2012 chairman meeting on the eve of the fourth session of the sixth council meeting and the preparations of International Friction&Sealing Material Expo 2013. He offered a specific explanation of director supplementation, setting up production statistics monthly report system in executive director units, revision of membership annual dues, "Selection Method of China Friction&Sealing Material Association Award of Science and Technology (try out)" and responding to non-asbestos process in productions.

The meeting discuss the council member supplement、establishing production figures monthly magazine system、adjusting membership dues、Selection Method of China Friction&Sealing Material Association Award of Science and Technology (try out)、non-asbestos .etc.
Chairman Wang made a concluding speech at the end of the meeting. He emphasized the fact that our industry were confronted with current tough economic conditions. He pointed out that the global economy would enter a relatively long period of downturn. Current economic conditions were much tougher than we really perceived and imagined, even tougher than the finicial crisis of 2008. He thought that only by unswervingly insisting "Science Development" rasied by Central Committee in our work, actively conducting a series of innovative work, attempting to transformation and upgrading, vigorously diging latent capacity from the interior, can we pull through a difficult time. Only by taking advantage of the recession timing, rushing to adjust the product structure, developing high-grade products, continuously enhancing the value added, and improving operational efficiency and benefit of enterprises, can we pull through a difficult time. Large and medium-size enterprises can merger and reorganize small enterprises to enhance industry concentration, besides enterprises should improve benefit by income increase, expenditure decrease and reduce cost and vigorously strengthen basic management. He concluded that despite of excessive content, we had a very heated discussion and agreed on the main issue and much else besides, arriving at the aim expected.

1、Meeting has considered and passed the council member supplement proposal，approve the general manager of Qingdao Saidun ceramic fiber co., LTD Ruifa Ren as member of the 6th council.
2、Meeting has considered and passed the establishing production figures monthly magazine system in all the executive member units proposal，the ultimo magazine should be submitted to association before the 8TH every month.
3、Meeting has passed the adjusting membership dues proposal，Common member units 2000CNY;council member units 3500CNY; executive member units 5000CNY;Vice chairman units 8000CNY.
4、Meeting has considered and passed 《Selection Method of China Friction&Sealing Material Association Award of Science and Technology (try out)》 proposal.
5、All conventioneer express the determination of implementing the non-asbestos industrial policy.
The representative Consistently think that the meeting is democratic、harmonious、vocal、efficient，also obtaine the expected effect and achieve complete ceremony.
