In 2010, with the leadership and care from China Building Federation plus the support from the members, we carried kinds of jobs according to the reservation annual plan, now, the summary as follows.
1、The advanced ward selection of the friction sealing material industry
According to CFSMA《Industry Advanced Prize Management Methods》, to push the adjustment of the friction sealing material industrial structure ,to promote the industry technological level, to improve the enterprises’ competitive capacity, we carried out the advanced ward selection of the friction sealing material industry, this activity opens up once every four years. In general ,10 wards emerged from this selection, including Top 21 enterprises of high comprehensive strength of China friction sealing material industry, Top 5 enterprises of high comprehensive strength of China friction sealing material industry, the outstanding entrepreneurs of China friction sealing material industry, outstanding contribution award of China friction sealing material industry, Technological advances advanced enterprise of China friction sealing material industry, the excellent supplier of China friction sealing material industry, special ward of China friction sealing material industry work, the advanced enterprises of China friction sealing material industry work, advanced individuals of China friction sealing material industry work, the lifetime contribution award of China friction sealing material industry. This selection makes our industry form the idea of “learn to the advanced、rush for the advanced、to be the first and create the excellence”, promotes the enterprises to improve the products’ quality and the management level, advance the core competitiveness of the industry.
2、Held the 12th friction sealing material technical exchange and product exhibition successfully
We held the 12th friction sealing material technical exchange and product exhibition & the 3th international auto、motorcycle parts patent new products’ technology exchange and product exhibition. Lei qianzhi(the vice President of China building materials association), Sun xiangyuan(Standing vice President), many enterprises and related fields’ Presidents of friction sealing materials industry home and abroad, the international colleagues and so on, many heavyweights visit this exhibition. 191 enterprises are at the exhibition home and abroad, exhibition area is more than 6000 square meters, 500 professional audiences from 30countries witnessed the latest products, the advanced technology, the innovative concept and the brand image of this industry.
During the exhibition, we held the friction material technical forum and sealing material technical report with several famous friction sealing material experts home and abroad as before. In the meanwhile, we introduced the seminar of the production-study-research integration firstly, the second photo exhibition of national friction sealing material industry were welcomed widely.
3、Held the professional technology trainings of the friction materials and the sealing materials
In March, we successfully held the 9th friction material technical training class in Jinan. To accomplish the practice of the training, in response to the members’ requests, we specially invited the domestic senior experts to preach the technology in this training. In the meanwhile, we firstly organized all the trainees to visit and study the product line、the research and development room of the key enterprises(Shandong Jinqilin Co.,Ltd、Shandong Xinyi Group and Shandong Shengquan Chemical Co.,Ltd).These large-scale visits broke the long-time conservative concept of “mutually closed” within this industry, deepened the mutual relationship and understanding within the industry, established the foundation for the later cooperation. This training attracted 181 trainees from 112 enterprises to visit、study and communicate, this training’s scale is bigger than all the other previous trainings.
In November, we held the third sealing material technology training in Tianjin Polytechnic University. We specially invited 3 overseas senior experts at the static seal field to give lessons. The trainees are more than 130 in total, including the leaders of the enterprises、the chief engineers、the technology backbones and the students from the sealing material major, this training is the biggest about the teacher resources and the scale since our association organized the training activities for the sealing material major.
4、Push the production-study-research integration and open the technology research activities hands in hands
During the 12th friction sealing material technical exchange and product exhibition, we firstly invited the leading supplier of auto safety system----TRW Automotive、Wuhu Boteli auto safety system Co., Ltd and the domestic institutions of higher learning that related with the development of this industry (Shanghai East China University Of Science and Technology、Zhejiang University of Technology、Tianjin Polytechnic University、Xianyang Normal University) joined in this exhibition, at the same time, convened the seminar of production-study-research integration. The goal of these activities lies in assisting enterprises to improve research and development ability, to enhance the capacity of independent innovation, in order to adapt to the rapid development of the international auto industry. The members and the participating representatives supported strongly. After the exhibition, some enterprises pre-contacted the universities about the research and development of the projects. The “union” is bound to push the improvement of the industrial technology level.
5、Organize members to visit foreign countries
We organized the members of the sealing material to visit USA. In order to show the development status of China sealing material industry to the overseas market, to understand the production and management、technical research、new products development status of American sealing material industry, and to establish the wide relationship with the colleagues, we organized the sealing material members to visit USA. During USA, the deputation participated in the sealing article international expo that is hosted by American Brake Pads Manufacturers Association, assisted by International Sealing Information Publish Alliance and American Fluid Sealing Material; also participated in the Western United States Trucks Exhibition, and communicated with latex suppliers about the business; visited the global leading enterprise that manufactures aramid fiber----DuPont; visited Yintefeisi Co.,Ltd that is the biggest manufacturer of the sealing emulsion boards, the 5th manufacturer of the brake pads in the world, wherever we passed, we got the warm reception and the deep communication. By this inspection and business activities, we understood more about the production 、management、R&D、the products’ level and the market status of American sealing material industry, we also introduced the development status of China sealing material industry to American colleges. This inspection plays a very important role in that the domestic enterprises understand the request of international market, adjust the development direction and pursue the advanced.
In August 2010, we organized the inspection of the friction materials in Russia. We inspected 2010 Russian International Cars and Accessories Exhibition, visited Russian famous friction material enterprise----OAOTIIR Friction Products Co.,Ltd, and met with Russian friction material testing center and certification authority----Respect. The members got vast quantities of information, and known a certain of Russian market.
6、Convene 2010 chairmen meeting
On March 7-8, 2010 chairmen meeting was held in Jinan. We made the report about the international exhibition’s preparing condition and the recent work situation, discussed to revise the next work plan and the change of term of office. We discussed the setting of the industrial advanced awards, that is the declaration & election condition and the related rules, during the 5thcouncil, and researched the 12th five-year plan、the undergraduate students training of sealing material major.
7、Accomplish to change the term of office
The Association held the first Members Representative Conference of the 6th council on May 6 in Huaxia Hotel in Shanghai. The secretary of the Party Committee of China Building Material Federation----Sun Xiangyuan attended the meeting and gave us the speech. The director of personnel department of China Building Material Federation----Xu Jinsu announced the agreement of changing the term of office of China Friction Sealing Material Association and gave us the speech. The conference elected Wangyao and other 113 people to be the 6th council director of China Friction Sealing Material Association. Sun Xiangyuan、Xu Jinsu and Wangyao awarded the certificates and medals to the excellent enterprises and advanced individuals of national friction sealing material industry.
8、Convene the first conference of the 6th council, elect new leaders of the association
On May 6, we held the first conference of the 6th council in Huaxia Hotel in Shanghai.
The constituents listened to the introductions of the executive director、the chairman、the vice chairman and the secretary-general candidates. The conference determined to employ Huang boyun as the honorary chairman of the 6th Council. Wangyao is the president of Council; Ma jianping and other 17 people are vice president, Zhang yukun is secretary-general; Wangyao and other 43 people get the executive director; the constituents determined that Liu rongliang、Denggang、Zhang yongqiang、Gu chengdong and Panzhou act the vice secretary-general of the 6th council. The purchasing vice president from Shandong Jinqilin Co.,Ltd----Liu shuwang gave us the speech about experience exchange.
9、Formulate the 12th five-year development plan outline and 5 industry self-regulation rules
On September 8, the second standing directors’ conference of the 6th Council was held in Gansu International Hotel. The conference agreed with the agenda of the second conference of the 6th Council and prepared to submit several proposals that the council discussed.
On September 9, we held the second meeting of the 6th Council. The conference discussed and passed the 12th five-year development plan outline of China friction sealing material industry, beside CFSMA guild regulations and rules、CFSMA methods of industry self-management awards and punishments、CFSMA industry professional ethic rules、CFSMA industry dispute handling rules、industry quality monitoring and inspection plus punishment information publish system, 5 industry self-regulation rules in total. The conference agreed that Xuyang resigned the post of vice chairman and added 5 directors. The conference confirmed that 2011 International Exhibition will be held in Kunming International Exhibition Center. The representatives visited You’an Braking Material Co.,Ltd after meeting.
10、Publish the English edition of 《the practical production technology of friction material》
In order to promote the technology exchange and cooperation with international friction material industry, to satisfy the readers’ demands home and abroad, we organized and compiled the English edition of 《the practical production technology of friction material》,this book reach more than 500,000 words by adding 、arranging and translating, and it has been published in the world since May 2010.
11、Hold the second photo contest about achievements of reform and opening-up of national friction sealing material industry
In order to show the graceful bearing of this industry and to guide the members to carry out the positive cultural activities, we held the second photo contest about achievements of reform and opening-up of national friction sealing material industry. This photo contest received 358 photos in total, the quality of photos was obviously higher than last year, 22 photos were awarded in total.
12、Accept to the assessment from the Ministry of Civil Affairs
We cleared out the whole documents of the association, perfected the documents of foundation management, accomplished the preparing job about reporting the materials and checking the materials, the site assessment experts of the Ministry of Civil Affairs praised our job, the rating will be announced before March 2011.
13、Facilitate sealing material major to set up the undergraduate education and the Scholarship
In order to foster the professional technology talents of the sealing material industry, we signed the cooperation deal with Tianjin Polytechnic University Material Science and Engineering College. We set up the sealing material direction in the composite material subject, foster the Bachelor and Master talents of the sealing major, promote the cooperation of the production-study-research, and, push the industry technology innovation. In order to encourage the students to choose the sealing material subject, we set up the CFSMA Scholarship in this college. We offer the association journal、the related professional technology books free, in the meanwhile, we permit the students join the Network Institute of our association free, and occasionally organize the technology forum from the experts home and abroad for the students.
14、Open up the symposium about the export problems of steel wool
Since this year, some enterprises that produce and export steel wool reflected, their steel wool used of the brakes are stopped in Shanghai Yangshan Pass and the other passes. We opened up the symposium in time, deeply got the enterprises’ advance, put the heads together, come up with the solutions, and reported to the General Administration of Customs about the problems of steel fiber export classify in the name of the group. According to many reflections, this event didn’t be solved, but our association is still trying hard.
